Leonardo Nils Tocchi is an Italian interior and architectural designer specialising in high-end residential projects, and the founder and creative director of Studio Bebas, Milan.

His path began in Barcelona at EMBT Studio, where he developed a sensitivity for natural, ecological materials and crafted details. He then moved to London to join Foster + Partners, learning to be a crucial team player within large international teams, delivering to demanding deadlines on complex, global-scale projects. That experience trained him to work with precision, speed and responsibility in highly structured environments.

Afterwards he spent eight years at Carlisle Design Studio, a London-based high-end interior design firm, where he became Associate Design Director. There he deepened his expertise in international luxury residential and hospitality projects: from designing bespoke furniture pieces from scratch and overseeing their procurement, to coordinating artisans and leading final on-site installations overseas. This gave him a complete understanding of the entire life cycle of a project, and of the level of detail required for truly high-end interiors.

In June 2023 he founded Studio Bebas in Milan. The work focuses on harmony, proportion and materiality, always with an emphasis on sustainability and conscious living, with a particular interest in projects where architecture, interiors and bespoke furniture are conceived as a single narrative.
